🤲 4️⃣ Numbness or Weakness on One Side
Tingling, weakness, or sudden numbness in your face, arm, or leg — especially on one side — is one of the most common early warning signs of a stroke.
🧠 5️⃣ Sudden Dizziness or Loss of Balance
If you feel lightheaded, unsteady, or lose coordination unexpectedly, your brain’s motor areas might not be receiving proper blood flow.
😵 6️⃣ Severe, Sudden Headache
A sharp, unusual headache that comes out of nowhere and doesn’t ease with painkillers can indicate a brain bleed or clot. Seek medical attention immediately if this happens.
💔 7️⃣ High Blood Pressure
Uncontrolled high blood pressure silently damages blood vessels in your brain and is the leading cause of strokes. Regular monitoring is crucial — especially after age 40.
💤 8️⃣ Sleep Disturbances
Interrupted sleep, snoring, or gasping for air during sleep (a sign of sleep apnea) can reduce oxygen flow to the brain and increase your stroke risk.
🩸 9️⃣ Sudden Face Drooping
Look in the mirror or ask someone: does one side of your face look uneven or droopy when you smile? That’s a strong sign of nerve weakness related to possible stroke activity.
